A.Under normal Working conditions no. Please see our maintenance section for do's and dont's or click Here. .
Q.Is your granite real and why is it so inexpensive?
A.All the granite products sold by us are genuine granite, produced from the natural rock and are first quality. We are able to sell at such low prices because we import directly in slab form from a host of international suppliers, in addition our prices reflect the fact that you are cutting out the "middle man" as you are buying from the very people that fabricate the slabs into your bespoke worktops.
Q. How do I get a quotation?
A.you can either.....
Fax a dimensioned sketch to 01257 255769 and within 24 hours our estimating and pricing department will return your fax or phone you with your quotation.
Phone us with your requirements and rough sizes for us to give you a "ball park" costing. We would however need to see a final sketch & material selection to give you a firm quote
E-Mail us with an attached plan or your sizes
Call into our factory with your plan/ rough drawing. This is probably the best idea as you can view materials in our stock yard , discuss your exact requirements and take samples of the Granite home with you
Q. How exact do I have to be in my measurements for you to quote me?
A.These are not the final measurements that will be used so you don't have to worry about being exact at this time.99% of customers choose to make use of our templating and fitting service and so exact sizes will be taken by our trained stonemasons/ granite fitters when they visit your home. Please feel free to call us if you are unsure of your sizes or need any help.
Q.Can I just replace my existing worktops?
A.Yes, but you will need to remove the existing worktops before we arrive to template and arrange for disconnection and reconnection of services. Please also note that the existing worktops may be thicker than the granite which is 30mm with a tolerance of +/-2mm.
Q.How quickly can you template & fit my new granite worktops?
A.Templates can be taken as soon as you place your order. Our normal lead time from template to fitting stage is 7 days. Any changes or delays to lead times will be given before you place your order.
Q.How should i prepare for templating and fitting of my granite worktops? what do i need to know?
A.Please read our Template & Fitting guide in the services section to ensure your installation runs as smooth as possible or click Here. .
Q. Can I install the Granite worktops myself?
A.
Many people do, however you would need to make a set of templates so that we can fabricate your worktops. We would be more than happy to show you how this is done, examples of requirements and material that would be suitable. also see the templating and fitting guide Here. .
Q.How thick is the granite for kitchen worktops?
A.Our Standard thickness is 30mm,Other sizes are available on request to suit your requirements.
Q.When fitted can you see the joints?
A.Yes. Joints can be seen but are not obtrusive. The colour of the jointing compound will be colour matched to minimise visibility. Some colours will show the joints more than others. We have full kitchen displays with granite worktops in our showroom for you to see the finished jointing before you buy

A.Yes. We have the latest machinery to carry out this type of work. in fact 90% of our customers have this type of sink arrangement. See Here.

Q.Ok...I really want to have an under mounted sink. Where can i buy one?A.We can supply you with any type of sink or tap from Blanco or Astracast at huge savings from the rrp as we deal with both companys directly saving you £££'s off the RRP.Both Blanco & Astracast are reputable suppliers of high quality sinks and taps as well as cooker hoods, kitchen lighting and many more products for your kitchen.See www.blanco.co.uk. Q.Will you fit the sink and hob?
A. If the sink is either an under mounted or inset type we will fit it to your granite. This is included in your price for templating and fitting. We are not able to undertake any plumbing for the sink or gas related work regarding the hob as this is a specialist area and should only be attempted by a trained certified professional.
Q.Will I need to be there when you install my worktops?
A.Yes, to approve your granite and pay us on our satisfactory completion
And Finally a word of Warning
Q.What about cheap internet only supplier deals? how do they compare to your service?
A.Don’t be fooled by cut throat deals on the Internet you may be buying more trouble than you realise.Just recently granite installations have been having a bad press. Many firms are popping up out of nowhere working on cut price margins with no facilities and working from a home address.They promise much but can they deliver? You can usually tell who these companys are by their selling tatics.The attractive price that is advertised comes with the hidden charges that bumps up the price to that of a kitchen showroom but with a poor finish and fit.Our advice would be to check out the credentials of the companys you get quotes from, visit their factory and look at finished work ready to be fitted.Afterall who would spend £100's or even £1000's of pounds on a natural, bespoke product without seeing the material, where and how it is produced.
