There are several easy ways to obtain a quote for granite or quartz worktops from finch's. The best and most accurate way is to fax, e-mail or post a kitchen plan/sketch showing the layout of the kitchen, giving us the preferred sink type, material type/ colour choice. This quotation will be worked out by a real person. This ensures accuracy and the correct price is passed on to you.Many of our competitors will give you the lowest price possible with an automated system the add extras on at the template stage when its too late to look for another supplier! If you decide to use our online quote system we would need to see a plan and final sizes before we can confirm the quote. However you may decide to contact us please include all your contact details to ensure that we are able to speak to you if necessary to discuss any missing information and provide an accurate quote. We will provide a quotation by return on the same day. Please see point 3 for more information on required details. |

Alternately you are more than welcome to call down to our factory, showroom and stockyard with your plan. This is our favoured option as while you are here we can discuss your project in more detail, answer any questions you may have and show you the actual slabs that your project will be made from.
While here you can also tour our new showroom,stockyard and factory to view the manufacturing process, completed projects waiting to be installed and take samples of the material home with you to test suitability and compare with your décor.

Once you have accepted our quotation, unlike our competitors there is no booking deposit to pay. We are very confident that if you wish to use our template and fitting service you will receive exactly what you are expecting and final payment for the entire project will only be collected on completion. If you wish to supply your own templates and install the surface yourself then for obvious reasons you will be asked to pay in full before we start fabrication. |

Upon order confirmation you will be provided with a template and fitting date for your work surfaces. These dates will be aligned with the schedule of kitchen installation. You will also be given your fitters contact details should you wish to discuss any specific part of your project. The same team who template your worktops will install them and oversee the job from start to finish.You are also welcome, at any time to contact us and speak directly with one of the owners of the business, a rarity in this day and age, we are sure you agree! |

Our fitting team will arrive on the agreed date to make precise templates. They will use a moisture resistant hardboard material(usually 6mm ply wood) and make exact templates taking into account overhangs and uneven wall surfaces.
Once completed our fitter will mark all seen edges for polishing and detail any cut outs that are required. At this point you will be consulted about the exact requirements of your project, the details of which will be marked on the template; such as draining grooves position and pattern, splash back height, Hob splash back size, shape and any other additional items/ processes you have requested. This is a bespoke service tailored specifically to your own requirements, no two kitchens are the same.
During this process you will be required to either be present or have a trusted representative present who can verify and confirm all details for the manufacturing process. As our customer you will be able to see the exact shape and size of the worktops to be produced. Templates are the final stage before fabrication so these must be correct and to your specification. When the sizes and templates have been taken you will be asked to sign our Template confirmation form This is why we ask that you are on site to approve everything before the templates are returned to the factory for the production of your work surfaces. Once these templates and sizes have been put into production we cannot accept additions or changes of any kind.

Firstly the selected material will be digitally cut and scribed to the templates or drawings. The work surfaces will then be cut and polished on ourCNC machine to ensure accurate sizes and a perfect millimetre precise finish.
All products are then subject to quality assurance inspections before being delivered and installed.

The same team who templated your worktops will arrive on the fitting date in accordance with the agreed schedule to install your worktops with the minimum of fuss and disruption.

Any outstanding balance is to be paid upon completion by cheque to the fitters (invoice supplied) or by telephone call to our office to pay by debit card or credit card ( 2% surcharge applies). BACS payments are also accepted.
