Material Colour Kashmir Gold Granite is also known as Cachmere Gold, Cachmere Golden, Cashmere Gold, Cashmir Gold, Gold Cachemire, Kashmir Gold, Kasmir Gold. This material is quarried from Tamil Nadu, Southern India.

of Material
Kashmir Gold granite is a yellow-brown granulite with some single brown-red garnets. This stone internationally may be known as a granite but must be nominated as granulite.
Colour Change and Variation in slabs For large projects we ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry for matching purposes. This material has a yellow-brown-beige background with brown-red specks in it. There are several different quarries of Kashmir Gold granite and the colour can vary considerably. Even First Choice material will have lines and veins. It is very common to use a resin filler in this granite to give a more smooth feel to the surface. Kashmir Gold granite absorbs liquid readily therefore a good quality sealer such as dry treat - stain proof should be applied when used as a work surface. Although beautiful, Kashmir gold is very prone to breakage in longer worktops with sink or hob cut outs so extra jointing on a kitchen may apply(compared to other granites or other types of materials(quartz surfaces)).
Material Type, Important Information.....
Granite is a natural product. The actual granite available may slightly differ both in shade and pattern from the pictures shown on our website. We actively encourage customers to visit our showroom, factory and stock yard to choose your granite slabs before fabrication. This ensures you get the right product and information on your selection every time.
We recommend that you do not buy granite over the internet or from samples sent in the post. Huge variations can occur not only between different slabs but in the slab its self, from one end
to the other.
When spending so much money on something that you will have for years its certainly worth investing the time and effort to get it right, first time-
in short -
always view the slabs that your wortkops will be made from !
