Material Colour Visag Blue granite is also known Andhra Blue, Azul Magnetic, Azul Vizag, Blue Vizag, Blue Vizag India, Brindel Blue, Ganga Blue, Gangablue, Vaizag Blue,Vizac Blue, Vizag, Vizag Bleu, Vizag Blu, Vizak Blue, Vizaq Blue, Vizga Blue. This material is quarried in India.
of Material
A fine-grained, blue-grey gneiss of the Precambrian period usually with small red garnets. This stone internationally may be known as a granite but this material must be nominated as gneiss.
This material has a dark grey to blue background with small red garnets plus grey and/or light to dark blue heavy veining extremely common. There are more than 40 different quarries of Vizag Blue granite therefore the colour and veining can vary considerably.

Colour Change and Variation in slabs For large projects we ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry for matching purposes. Visag blue is another fairly dramatic colour with lots of figure and pattern that can be unpredictable yet very beautiful in larger worktop sizes.Even the best, First Choice material will have lines and veins and colour match issues. It is quite common to use a resin filler in this granite to give a more smooth feel to the surface.Vizag Blue granite is porous and prone to absorb liquids therefore dry treat - stain proof must be applied before using as a work surface.
Material Type, Important Information.....
Granite is a natural product. The actual granite available may slightly differ both in shade and pattern from the pictures shown on our website. We actively encourage customers to visit our showroom, factory and stock yard to choose your granite slabs before fabrication. This ensures you get the right product and information on your selection every time.
We recommend that you do not buy granite over the internet or from samples sent in the post. Huge variations can occur not only between different slabs but in the slab its self, from one end
to the other.
When spending so much money on something that you will have for years its certainly worth investing the time and effort to get it right, first time-
in short -
always view the slabs that your wortkops will be made from !
